PXG’s Wildcat Golf Club Set: Maximum Forgiveness, Maximum Fun

Designed as a comprehensive nine-piece set or golf clubs, the PXG Wildcat series brings together core PXG technologies with specs engineered to help beginner golfers get the ball in the air, find the middle of the club face more often, and have more fun on the course. Plus when you package it all together you get a bag, hat, and a dozen golf balls for just $1,500.

Core design features

Limited Adjustability - Now in most cases, limited adjustability might not sound like a feature, but eliminating any hosel or weight adjustability from the Wildcat metal woods helps to avoid player confusion, and also helps to reduce cost.

Shorter standard lengths - To make it easier to control and hit the middle of the face, the stock length of the driver, fairway wood, and hybrid is shorter.

Extra Loft - To help get the ball up in the air and properly space distance gapping for golfers who make less consistent contact, the woods have more loft than you would typically find with off-the-rack clubs. For example, the driver has a full 16-degrees of loft which is more than most standard 3-woods.

Black Ops Iron Technology - The oversized Wildcat irons feature many of the same technologies as the popular PXG Black Ops irons including XCor2 polymer to support the thin face, plus a dual cavity design to increase perimeter weighting.

Fully Fitable - Unlike most “package” sets in the market, the PXG Wildcat clubs can be fully custom-ordered and fit through a PXG retailer.

Wildcat Models

Driver - With a stock length of 44 inches and 16-degrees of loft, the driver gains extra forgiveness thanks to the carbon crown that pushes the center of gravity away from the face.

Fairway Wood - With 19-degrees of loft, the 5-wood is just as easy to hit from the fairway as it is from the tee. The larger face profile help to maintain ball speeds on mishits.

Hybrid - To bridge the gap between the fairway wood and irons, the Wildcat hybrid has 28-degrees of loft to make it extremely easy to get into the air, especially out of the rough.

Irons - The Wildcat irons feature wide soles and lofts spaced further apart to both increase spin for better stoping power and to make club selection easier for beginners and more moderate speed players.

Black Hawk Putter - As a bit of bonus to go along with the new Wildcat line, PXG has also introduced the new Black Hawk putter series. With a longer top alignment line for easy setup and aiming, it can also be customized with 4 different hosel options to fit any golfers putting stroke.
